Drawing and Painting Fundamentals

Service Description

In this course you will be given all the tools you need to create life-like portraits and still lifes. Learn how to draw accurate lines, measure proportions,  represent perspective, differentiate value and color, control shading, maintain proper brushwork, create effective atmosphere, and establish faithful composition and lighting. We will be working in a variety of different mediums including pencil, pastel, charcoal and oil paint. Each class includes a demonstration, group instruction, and personalized coaching and critique. The tuition is $30 per class. Classes will be held on Mondays at 7:30 PM starting January 16th. For the syllabus and exact dates for the semester email me at samuelcwalter@gmail.com.
